Sale of forestry plants

There are three options for buying forestry plants grown in RMK’s nurseries:

• Retail sales of plants begin once the ground has thawed, usually at the end of April and continue through the beginning of June.
• Pre-booked sale of plants presupposes that plants for the spring planting season are booked with RMK between 1 November and 1 March.
• Commissioning the growing of plants enables the ordering of plants from RMK 1-3 years before the desired time of planting. Bare root spruce sets will be fit for planting in 3-4 years, a pine seedling and a birch plant in 1-2 years.
