Osmussaare information point
Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.
On the northern shore of the island, next to the bank coast and the lighthouse, there is an information point where you can learn about the Neugrund meteorite explosion, the settlement and history of the island, and find out about hiking and camping opportunities.

- Without the consent of the protected area manager organized tourism and big events are prohibited on the island.
- All trash must be taken with you!
- Before going on a nature walk please read the Environmental code of conduct (freedom to roam), rules of conduct and waste-sorting policy
