Lake Kaiu campfire site
The campfire site is situated on the eastern bank of Lake Kaiu and is the last one of the campfire sites at Kaiu lakes. The campfire site is suitable for enthusiasts of recreational water sports and hikers who like to walk in the forest of alternating terrain, rich in wild berries and mushrooms.

Maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 7.
Hiking options
Kaiu cycling trail (45 km) and Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking route pass the parking

Information board, table-bench with roof, benches, covered fire pit, woodshed with the possibility of sleeping in the barn, toilet

Parking at the forest road (before the no entry traffic sign).

Restrictions
The campfire site is situated in Kääpa Landscape Protection Area (Tammeluha limited management zone). Waterways of the protected area are restricted to non-motorised boating.
Camping and making campfire is allowed in designated places only. Planning public events with more than 20 participants and using motorised vehicles on the waters of the protected area requires prior consent from the protected area manager.
