WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO AROUND ELISTVERE?
Visitor Centre
RMK’s Elistvere Animal Park Visitor Centre operates in the entrance building of the Elistvere Animal Park. We offer nature study programmes, share information materials about RMK’s recreational areas, and organise events.
A classroom is located on the first floor of the Visitor Centre, where we organise events and nature education programmes. The space can also be rented for nature education purposes.

Study trail
The Elistvere study trail is located on the territory of the animal park. This approximately 1 km round trip trail offers insights into local wildlife and habitats, with information boards and viewing platforms along the way. The first 350 metres from the trail start to the observation tower are wheelchair and stroller accessible, with a boardwalk width of 123 cm.
The boardwalk leads to Lake Elistvere, where there is an observation tower for monitoring waterfowl.
Along the study trail, you can also admire land art – installations created using local nature, landforms, and materials.
The study trail is accessible to animal park visitors during opening hours (an admission fee for visiting the animal park is required).
Picnic area
There is a picnic area close to the animal park that also accommodates larger groups. There are tables, benches, and covered fireplaces there for grilling and eating.
The Elistvere campfire site is located next to the picnic area.
