The 45 km long trail runs largely across the Kaiu kames. With its length and versatile terrain, the trail is sufficiently demanding even for experienced cyclists. The trail runs south from the Kääpa village through airy pine forests, in some parts the track goes up and downhill on loose sand. You can restore your energy at campfire sites on the shores of Kaiu lakes or freshen up in the lakes. One of the most interesting spots along the trail is Sõõru village and its more than a century-old fire watchtower (visitors are not allowed in the tower!). At Pala you can replenish your food and drink supplies to have stamina for the second half of the trail. In Kääpa village you can visit Kalevipoeg Museum, dedicated to the Estonian epic hero, a theme park, the treasure-bringing goblin’s adventure trail and, with a little luck, meet some goblins along the way.
