NB! If you find a dead bird, do not touch it or move it anywhere! Please report it to the Agriculture and Food Board by calling 605 4767 or 1247.

Mägede campfire sites are located by a lake in an old sand quarry. There are 3 campfire sites that are all located separately allowing a private being. The lake is suitable for swimming.

Sights

Lake in a former quarry, the Valgehobusemägi hill (White Horse Hill).

Hiking options

Located by Oandu-Aegviidu-Ikla hiking route, Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking route

Camping

Maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 15

Amenities

1 outdoor fireplace, 2 fire rings with barbecue grill, picnic tables, shelter, 6 benches, 2 dry toilets, 3 firewood shelters, parking area fence

Water

Non-potable water from lake sand quarry

Parking

Parking for 20 cars or max 4 buses.
