RMK Hiking Route Oandu-Aegviidu-Ikla / Aegviidu – Hirvelaane (61 km)
The third section of the hiking route passes through the Kõrvemaa Landscape Protection Area, which is a little more sparsely populated with nature conservation objects than the previous section, but beautiful and interesting in terms of nature. The road also includes one of the longest boardwalk sections in Estonia - the boardwalk over the Kakerdaja bog is more than three and a half kilometres long.
After passing through the Kaerdaja bog, there will be 17 kilometres of alternating hiking trails and gravel roads through Kõrvemaa to the Paunküla reservoir. After the Paunküla reservoir, you have to cross the Tallinn-Tartu highway and from there, the hiking route runs mainly along different roads, eventually reaching Rapla County.
