Hüpassaare campfire site
Hüpassaare study trail is closed for renovation from 18th of August 2025 to 1st of July 2026!
The campfire site is located in the hometown of Mart Saar, the founder of Estonian national choral music, and welcomes all hikers – even those unfamiliar with choral music and organ playing. Just as the composer used to go from his farm to the bog to swim in the bog pool and seek inspiration, the hikers can come to his hometown to enjoy a picnic after a refreshing hike and swim. The campfire site is located at the start of the car park and Hüpassaare study trail. Please note that the surrounding meadow is maintained by sheep, and larger groups can also camp if they coexist amicably with the sheep. A fire can be made using the open grill on the bonfire base, and a sturdy roof with a table and benches provides protection against light rain.
