Kõrtsi-Tõramaa campfire site
The Kõrtsi-Tõramaa campfire site is located next to the Soomaa National Park visitor centre at the start of the Beaver Trail study trail. Hikers on the Oandu-Aegviidu-Ikla trail, as well as other adventurers and nature lovers, can pitch their tents on the grass here. It may happen that campers see a beaver building its dam as darkness falls. There is a car park with asphalt and gravel that can withstand the weight of large caravans and camper vans. Parking on grass is not allowed in National Parks and other protected areas. The campfire site equipment is being renewed. At the moment, making a fire is not possible.
