The 2008 forest fire opened up a view to the interesting landforms of the area, which appeared thousands of years ago, when Lake Veskijärv was separated from the Littorina Sea. Here you can take a 4-km walk through the bog to Lake Tänavjärv and back. It is a good fishing lake, but it is not possible to fish from the shore.

Sights

Lake Veskijärv is a good fishing lake. In spring it is possible to listen to the sounds of the rare natterjack toad in the old quarry 1 km away.

Camping

Maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 3.

1 shelter, 1 outdoor fireplace and dry toilet

Parking

Parking for max 10 cars

Additional information

The surrounds of the campfire site were destroyed in the forest fire in 2008.
