Valga County, Haanja-Karula Recreation Area
The trail starts at the foot of the Tellingumägi hill at the Cycling trail campfire site and partly coincides with Koiva cycling trail. The second part of the trail goes mainly along roads and forest rides in pine forests, ascending and descending and offering magnificent views. The cycling trail goes along forest roads and rides on the rolling terrain of Karula uplands.
Camping
Camping with tents and fireplaces at the Tellingumäe, Kõrgeperve and Linnajärve campfire sites and at the Oore campsite.
Amenities
The trail passes several campfire sites and Oore campsite on the shore of Lake Aheru, where it is possible to stay overnight.

Navigation instructions : On Võru–Valga road (Road no. 67), 53 km from Võru, about 1.5 km after Hargla, turn left (follow the sign “Taheva Sanatoorium”), drive 1.4 km and turn left again. After 1 km drive off the asphalt road onto a narrow gravel road (follow the sign “Tellingumäe vaatetorn”) and the start of the cycling trail is after about 1 km.
