Aluoja observation platform

 
Ida-Viru County, Peipsi põhjaranniku Recreation Area
The view platforms are right next to the Aluoja cascade, giving a powerful spectacle. The cascade gets its waters from the Mägara stream. Before falling to the Pühajõe river valley, the Mägara stream forms a canyon that is about 700 m long and about 10 m deep (Aluoja canyon). The cascade includes five bigger stages.

Restrictions

According to the nature conservation rules, motorised vehicle traffic is prohibited outside roads and paths. Campfires can be made only in designated sites.

Navigation instructions : Drive along Tallinn–Narva road, turn to Toila. Drive 4.5 km and turn right (sign to Aluoja). Drive another 1.5 km to the parking area, where you can leave your car. Walk 100 m to the observation platform.
