Elistvere campfire site
Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.
The campfire site is not far from the centre of the historic park at Elistvere manor, at a meadow in the park, near Elistvere Animal Park (entrance to the animal park for a small fee).
Parking
Please do not drive to the campfire site. Park by the roadside or in the Animal Park parking area.
Water
Non-potable water from the lake (400 m from campfire site), drinking water from the Animal Park building during opening hours.
Amenities
Information board, barbecue shelter, 2 outdoor fireplaces, tables, benches, firewood shelter and dry toilet
Wheelchair Accessibility
The campfire site is accessible in wheelchair, no special facilities are provided.
Hiking Options
The campfire site is a rest stop at the RMK Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking route. Elistvere study trail starts at the Animal Park.
Camping
The maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 10.

Restrictions
The campfire site is located in Elistvere manor park, which is a protected area.
To organise a public event with more than 50 participants, a written permission must be obtained from the protection area manager and from RMK.
