Harku forest nature trail (5,7 km)
The Harku Forest Nature Trail, located on the edge of the City of Tallinn, introduces the diverse Harku forest, different forest types and bogs, and the species found in them. The circular trail is 5.7 km long and is marked with green tags in nature. In the middle of the trail, on the sand dunes, there is an open gazebo, where the hiker can rest his or her feet and also have a picnic. Since the trail also passes through the swampy areas, it should be taken into account that waterproof boots or rubber boots are more suitable for hiking in wet seasons. The nature trail intersects and, in sections, also overlaps with the Nõmme-Harku health trails, where ski trails are prepared in winter. Therefore, we ask you not to walk on the ski trail.
