Jalase nature trail (2 km)
Protected in the Jalase Landscape Conservation Area are mire, alvar, and forest communities, protected species, individual geological objects, and the unique village landscape of Jalase. There are three capercaillie courting areas located within the conservation area.
The Jalase nature trail starts at the rest stop on Jalase-Ohukotsu Road. Initially, the dirt road runs for 1 km through the varied forests of the Arbumetsa Special Management Zone, then 300 metres along the edge of a field, where the 0.7 km long boardwalk begins. The boardwalk runs in the Sõbesoo Special Management Zone and leads the interested person to Lake Sõbessoo or Lake Jalase. The nature trail runs back and forth, and in order to get back to the starting point, it is necessary to return along the already familiar trail.

Drive to Rapla. Drive bu Rapla-Märjamaa road for 9 km then turn towards Jalase. Drive for 3.5 km until you reach Jalase village then turn right and drive by the forest road for 2.2 km.
