Kallaste cliff rest stop
Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.
Kallaste cliff is about 400 m and 10 m high lime stone disclosure. An old pine forest grows on the cliff and there's a forest trail under the trees.
At the southern part of the cliff you can see fossilized plants. Folk tales tell that during the ancient freedom battle of Estonia Kallaste cliff was the hiding place of the Devil where he made swords for the fighters.

Parking for 2 buses or 7 cars.

Parking area, 2 information boards, dry toilet, path leading to the cliff and a staircase leading down the cliff
