The Agriculture and Food Board warns about the spread of avian influenza. Please stay away from dead birds outdoors and ensure that your pets do not come into contact with them. NB! If you find a dead bird, do not touch it or move it anywhere! Please report it to the Agriculture and Food Board by calling 605 4767 or 1247.
The campsite with clean, "singing" sands is located in one of the most beautiful tourist areas on the northern shore of Lake Peipus.

Maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 100.

Open air stage, flagpole, dry toilet, picnic table with shelter
Parking
Parking for 150 cars, 5 buses.
Additional information
The campsite is suitable for organising major public events, it is not regularly maintained.

Navigation instructions : Drive 47 km along Jõhvi–Tartu road, turn left at the Kauksi bus stop (sign to Visitor Centre of Alutaguse National park). Drive 800 m towards Lake Peipus up to the road turn. Keep on the road going straight ahead and drive through the gate; the campsite
is to the right of the road. Please note that this is an area for public outdoor events; advance booking and prior consent of the managers of the recreation area is required to use it.
