Kauksi campsite
The camping area is located in Alutaguse Rural Municipality, Kauksi Village, directly on the shore of Lake Peipus. With its clean and singing sand, the camping area is located in one of the most beautiful summer resorts on the northern shore of Lake Peipus. Right next to the camping area is the Kauksi beach house, with its promenades and well-maintained beach area. The camping area is designed for holding large-scale events (from 50 people). Can only be used with prior agreement, for a fee, on the basis of a contract.
Parking
Expanded driveway to the campsite offers parking for about 40 cars; parking area for 30 to 40 cars, additional parking spaces next to campfire sites for about 40 to 50 cars

- Camping is free of charge; 20.06 – 27.08.single entry ticket for a motorised vehicle is 5.00 €.
- Firewood on sale seasonally at the information point near the campsite entry.
- Before going on a nature walk please read the Environmental code of conduct, rules of conduct and waste-sorting policy
Restrictions
Motorised vehicle traffic is prohibited outside roads and paths within 200 m shore protection zone of Lake Peipus. Campfires can be made only in designated sites. Please refer to the traffic instructions and regulations upon driving in.
