Keemu rest stop
The rest stop near Keemu Harbour is an ideal place to stop for a lunch break. You can enjoy a picnic under a covered shelter or in the open air in the outdoor seating area. You can also go for a walk along the harbour pier that extends into Matsalu Bay or observe the surrounding landscape and birds from the observation tower. During the ice-free period, Matsalu Bay is home to vibrant bird life, including swans, great herons, ducks, diving ducks, gulls, and many other species. You may also see the occasional majestic white-tailed eagle circling above the water. Swallows also nest under the eaves of the covered seating area.
Sights
Matsalu bay, Keemu port, Keemu observation tower. The Midsummer bonfire square (fire ring and village swing) of the Matsalu village society is located nearby.

Waiting shelter with thatched roof, three walls and the open front and a long table with benches inside. Dry toilet, information board about coastal meadows.
