The Agriculture and Food Board warns about the spread of avian influenza. Please stay away from dead birds outdoors and ensure that your pets do not come into contact with them. NB! If you find a dead bird, do not touch it or move it anywhere! Please report it to the Agriculture and Food Board by calling 605 4767 or 1247.

On the Kooraste cycling trail.
Amenities
Covered fire pit with grill grate, table-bench with roof, benches, shelter of firewood, dry toilet, information board and changing cabin at the swimming place. A children's playground has been built by the local community.

At Kooraste-Otepää Road, on the shore of Lake Kooraste Suurjärv
Navigation instructions : Take Tallinn-Tartu-Võru-Luhamaa Road (road no. 2). From the Kanepi-Leevaku intersection continue straight on towards Võru for about 600 m. Then turn right into Erastvere-Sillaotsa Road (road no. 18116) and drive about 7.7 km to Sihva-Vidrike-Kärgula-Järvere Road. Turn right there and drive about 1.0 km, until the sign on the left directs to the campfire site.
