Lake Öördi forest hut
Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.
It is possible to picnic, camp or have a rest in the forest hut. Hikers can take a relaxing walk to the bog lake of Öördi in Öördi bog.

Hut is on the Öördi study trail.
Camping
Maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 3.
Amenities
Forest hut, fire ring with barbecue grill, firewood shelter, information board and dry toilet. The forest hut has no heating.
Parking
Parking area for 7 cars.

When coming from the direction of Tartu–Viljandi, drive along Tartu–Viljandi–Pärnu road to Kõpu. After passing the Kõpu cemetery, turn right into Kõpu–Jõesuu road. To get to the destination, drive 7 km to the sign directing to Lake Öördi. Turn right, drive 5.7 km along the forest road and the ride to the campfire site.
