Läti campfire site
You can enjoy a picnic and pitch a tent at the Läti campfire site. There is a sturdy shelter to protect you from bad weather. As a change of pace, you can climb to the top of the observation tower and take in a view of the spacious meadows. The best view of the fifth season, or the high water period, is found here. The meadows here along the Halliste River are flat, so the water rises above the banks first, later reaching Tõramaa and Riisa. Swans and ducks often arrive during the flood, so it’s worth bringing along a pair of binoculars. During the warmer months, you can enjoy picturesque sunsets while watching cattle grazing in the meadows.
