Nohipalo study trail starts and ends at the Ilumetsa rental hut and is ca 3 km long. There are 16 information boards on the trail, introducing hunting and forestry. The trail takes about 1,5 hours to complete.

Badger area, pine forests, eskers, heath forests, traces of beaver activity.

Navigation instructions : Drive 15 km from Räpina towards Võru, then turn left towards Värska and drive 3.8 km up to an intersection where a sign "Meenikunno maastikukaitseala" directs to the right. Follow the sign and drive 2.1 km until you get to Nohipalo village, where the sign "Ilumetsa metsamaja" directs to the left. Drive about 200 m to the rental hut.
