Nõmmejärve campfire site
Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.

Nõmmejärve parking lot opposite the Kurtna Youth Camp.

Hiking Options
The campfire site is situated at the beginning of Kurtna hiking trail and by Penijõe-Aegviidu-Kauksi hiking route
Camping
The maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 10.
Sights
Lake Nõmmejärv, area 12,6 ha, average depth 3,1 m, maximum depth 7,5 m, is home for different species of fish.
