Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.
The campfire site is situated in Konsu village in Kurtna Landscape Reserve in Alutaguse National Park. Lake Nõmmejärv is very poular with its sandy beach. Enjoy the walking through classical pine forest from the parking lot to the campfire site.

Nõmmejärve parking lot opposite the Kurtna Youth Camp.

The maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 10.
Sights
Lake Nõmmejärv, area 12,6 ha, average depth 3,1 m, maximum depth 7,5 m, is home for different species of fish.

After 500 m you will reach the parking lot of Nõmmejärve campfire site. Signpost points to the left stairs down, the 300 m walk through the pine forest takes you to the campfire site and Lake Nõmmejärv.
