Nõva Visitor Center

Nõva Visitor Centre is the centre of RMK Nõva recreation area, located in North-West Estonia at Peraküla, near sandy beaches and forests full of wild berries and mushrooms. Here is the start of the 192 km branch of the RMK Hiking Route from Peraküla to Aegviidu, opened in 2015. Before you go to discover the recreation area, take a quick look at our sights in the film "Maa, mis tõuseb merest" ("Land that Rises from the Sea"). We give information about the sights in this neighbourhood, and advice on planning hiking routes. The centre provides activities for both the young and the elderly. You can enjoy our exhibitions, forest games or discover the world of sand with a microscope. The visitor centre offers guided and self-study nature education programmes on various topics for different interest groups.

Parking for 2 buses, 15 cars, max 2 caravans

Water tap outside the building (the tap is closed during winter time)

Sights

There are activities for both young people and elders – forest games, a discovery tour with a microscope in the world of sand, or crafting with natural materials.

Navigation instructions : Drive 47 km from Tallinn through Keila towards Haapsalu and turn right at the Määra road junction (sign “Nõva 29 km”). Drive through Nõva for 3.2 km towards Haapsalu, turn right at the Peraküla bus stop and drive 1.9 km to Peraküla village. In the centre of Peraküla follow the sign “RMK Nõva külastuskeskus” to the right.
