The trail starts and ends at Pähni Visitor Centre. The forest landscape here is characterised by small wetland areas and the curvy flooded meadow. Most forests are old fresh boreal forests. Their condition is quite natural and therefore they possess diverse biota. A quite wanderer may easily meet a wild animal, birds will accompany you anyway. Also, the forest is rich in insects. There are 15 points of interest along the trail.

Amenities
The trail starts and ends at Pähni Visitor Centre. Along the trail there are 15 points of interest, introducing different tree species, objects of cultural heritage and traces of animal activity. 200 m of the trail is boardwalk and there are 4 shelters for rest stops.
