A nice place for lakeside recreation with a narrow strip of sandy beach on the lakeshore and the nearby hiking trail provides a fascinating walk across a versatile terrain.

The parking lot by the information board can accommodate 10 cars.

The campfire site is on the Palumägede hiking trail.
Camping
The maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 10.

Navigation instructions : Drive 13 km from Tartu towards Võru, turn right towards Otepää, drive 10 km, turn left at the Kodijärve manor park, drive 1.4 km and turn left (wooden sign “Palumäed”). It is about 800 m along the forest road to the parking lot of the campfire site. You can go only on foot to the campfire site by the lake.
