Sihi campfire site

The campfire site under the tall pine forest is situated on a versatile terrain and is suitable for a lakeside forest holiday or hiking on the study trail surrounding the lake.
Parking

Parking area for 10 cars at the start of the study trail

Amenities

Information board, picnic table with shelter, outdoor fireplace, benches, firewood shelter and composting toilet.

Restrictions

The campfire site is situated in Saarjärve Nature Park.
Use of non-motorised boating is allowed on the lake. Camping and making campfire is allowed in designated places only. Planning public events with more than 50 participants and using ATVs requires prior consent from the protected area manager.

Navigation instructions : Drive 33 km from Tartu on Jõhvi–Tartu–Valga road (Road no. 3) towards Jõhvi, turn left (the sign points to Jõgeva and Palamuse), and drive 1 km. Turn left to the tree-lined driveway to the Saare Manor, drive 800 m and turn left at the information board to the parking area. Walk 300 m along the study trail that starts at the information board, then turn left (at the RMK sign), the campfire site is 350 m away.
