Where to go

Tädu nature study trail (3.1 km)

Harju County, Tallinn Recreation Area

The Tädu Nature Study Trail, located in the Mäealuse Landscape Conservation Area, presents an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the diverse and rich nature of the Viimsi peninsula. One of the most distinctive sights is, for example, the spruces growing on glacial erratics. Tädu’s 3.1-kilometre-long study trail provides information about local forest residents as well as various natural phenomena. There is also a campfire site near the end of the trail, where you can build a fire and have a picnic. It takes about 1.5 hours to complete the trail when walking at a calm pace. The trail ends in the car park next to Randvere Road, where it started. The route of the Tädu Nature Study Trail is marked with green tags on the trees.
