Tammiste forest trail (2.8 km)
Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.
Measuring 2.8 km, the forest trail is close to the city and is a popular destination for both locals and visitors. It trail offers a relaxing holiday experience and provides information about forest life and management. The trail is ideal for walking and health activities. As you walk along the trail and beside the river, you can admire primeval trees that are over 160 years old, listen to birdsongs, and enjoy the view of the Pärnu River. You can also have a barbecue at one of the designated campfire sites or just simply enjoy the sunshine.
