Valgesoo study trail (1,8 km)
The circular 1.8 km study trail goes around Valgesoo bog. On the trail you can see typical bog vegetation, old forest, the so-called Baron's pine stand and the wood ant population at the edge of the forest. Driving on the trail with any vehicle is prohibited!
Parking
There is room for up to 20 cars in the parking lot, the bus parking lot is located by the entrance road.
Amenities
1.6 km of the trail is a 1.2 meter wide boardwalk, 200 m is a gravel covered trail, information stands on the trail. Next to the parking lot there is a campfire site and an observation tower.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The whole trail is accessible with wheelchair and pram, accessible dry toilet is next to the parking lot.
Hiking Options
The trail is only for walking! Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking route passes the beginning of the trail and Valgesoo campfire site.

Valgesoo bog (354 ha), primeval forest, old pine plantations (“Baron’s pine forests”), National Goegraphic`s yellow window, Valgesoo observation tower reconstructed in 2018-2019.
