The Agriculture and Food Board warns about the spread of avian influenza. Please stay away from dead birds outdoors and ensure that your pets do not come into contact with them. NB! The forest house is situated on Laiksaare nature study trail, which introduces riparian forests. This is an excellent place to watch birds and listen to their singing. The forest hut is a good overnight stop for hikers on the Kopra tare – Ikla section (74 km) of RMK Hiking Route.

The forest hut is situated in a riparian forest along the Rannametsa River, with rich vegetation and versatile terrain.

Parking for 10 cars in the parking area of the forest district office.
