Tsitre campsite
The Tsitre campsite is located in a picturesque bay by the sea. Most of the camping areas and campfire sites are on the edge of the forest by the road leading to the beach; some are directly on the beach, but these cannot be reached by car. Vehicles must be left in the car park at the end of the road leading to the beach. In addition to sunbathing on the beach, visitors can explore the Tsitre Tree Trail, which tells the colourful story of the Tsitre summer manor, once owned by the Kolga manor lords, and the park’s diverse trees. The trail also features the Tsitre observation tower, which overlooks Kolga Bay and the western shore of the Juminda Peninsula. Both sea birds and forest birds can be observed here. Nearby is Muuksi Hill, which is also worth exploring on foot.
