Veski campfire site
Foot-and-mouth, a severe animal disease, is currently circulating in Europe and also poses a threat to animals in Estonia. Your help is needed to prevent animals here – sheep, cattle, goats, and other ungulates – from becoming infected. We ask that you please follow some important recommendations.
The campfire site is situated on the shore of Lake Ähijärv. The campfire site marks the start of the 4 km long Lake Ähijärv (study) trail and the 36 km long Karula hiking trail.
Sights
Lake Ähijärv, semi-natural (farm) landscapes, forests with rich biodiversity, 4 km Lake Ähijärv hiking trail passes the campfire site.
Hiking options
The campsite is on the RMK Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve Hiking Route.
Camping
Maximum number of tents (for 4) allowed is 2.
Amenities
The campfire site has an information board, a covered fireplace, a wood shed, a dry toilet, a 2- compartment waste bin, 3 benches for sitting, and a covered table-bench.
Parking
Parking is limited to 2 cars on the side road.
Additional information
The campfire site is located in private land, so please show respect to the landowners.
